FAQs

Do you offer special rates for groups?

Yes, we certainly do. Please find the iformation here.

Do you have wheelchair-accessible tours?

Sure! Our two-day Easy St. Petersburg tour itinerary is wheelchair-accessible as well as Trip Advisor's TOP 5 tour (with some adjustments). We also have a few more itineraries to offer that are not published on our web site now. Please contact us and we'll send you a tour offer with the itineraries we've developed or we can come up with a custom itinerary that suits your wishes, interests and budget!

What do you include in the tour price?

The prices usually include all entrance tickets, boat tour and hydrofoil tickets (if included into the itinerary), permission for amateur photo and video (with some exceptions as Grand Palace of Peterhof or Hermitage Gold rooms etc), guide services and driver services, parking fees, We also provide special tour tickets for cruise passengers free of charge.

The prices do NOT include the cost of lunches, the cost of the tickets to ballet or opera or folk-show, tips to the guides or drivers. We also do NOT provide tourist health ensurance.

Where do I meet my tour guide?

The meeting point depends on the tour you book. If you book a shore tour, your guide will meet you at the cruise port directly, inside the port terminal, just after the passport control zone (please don't go outside). If you book a private land tour, the guide will meet you at the reception desk of your hotel. If you book a small group land tour, then the meeting point will probably be in the city ceter, next to a central subway station so that every tour participant can find the meeting point. Meeting point will be stated in the tour confirmation or in an e-mail that will be sent to you beforehand. Please contact us if you are late on your tour or can't find your tour guide.

How much time do you spend at each attraction?

As you can expect, some landmarks take more time to get to on our tours and some are more time-consuming than others. With this in mind, we have no set time for the exploration of each attraction. Our tour guides are trained to watch how their group progresses at each landmark and they adjust each tour accordingly. You should keep in mind that some tours cover three or four landmarks over a single day, so there are a limited number of hours in which to do a lot of sightseeing. However you can skip some attactions to enjoy the others more.

Do I need a visa for my tour in St. Petersburg?

Most people do need visas to come to Russia. However there is a law that allows passengers of cruise ships and ferries to stay in Russia for no longer than 72 hours without a visa issued by a Russian Consulate. Instead, ship passengers get special cruise visas or "blanket visas" which we provide free of charge. You may find a detailed information about them here. If you come to St. Petersburg on a plane/train or bus or want to stay here for more than 72 hours, you have to apply for regular Russian tourist visa at the Russian Consulate in your country. They will ask you for "visa support" documents that simplify the process of getting Russian visa. We do provide visa support service, you may get it here. There are also some countries that have visa-free regime with Russia, please find them at the very bootom of this page
